Yes. The header tape has multiple hook positions so you can hang them on a standard curtain track or on rings from a pole. Adjust the gather to suit your window width.

Yes. The blackout curtains helps create a darker space for daytime naps or daytime sleep after night shifts. Make sure the track or pole is well-fitted to reduce light leakage.
They do not blackout the light. They are not even as effective as the standard 'non blackout' curtains they replaced. The header with the eyelets for attaching the curtain hooks only has 2 rows of eyelets, lower and centre, no eyelets as a top row. My 86 inch drop curtains which these were to replace, were hung off the top (of 3) row of eyelets and touched the carpet. These, being hung off the highest row of eyelets i.e. the middle, are now about an inch above the carpet, letting in more light and heat, and looking untidy.
